DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

Technicians are experienced in identifying and repairing dishwasher problems that can cause irregular noises to come out of the appliance. The cause of the sounds is usually a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Because these are common problems, you can count on us to fix them immediately!

WATER LEAKING

There are primarily one of two reasons a dishwasher is leaking water. One reason is there is an issue with the door latch or closure and it will need a replacement. Another problem is a failed water inlet valve that can be repaired right after our arrival to your house. We have all of the manufacturer parts to fix GE, Whirlpool, Sears and all name brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

In the event a dishwasher does not start or turn on, you need to ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers tripped. If that’s not the problem, then the issue might be related to the door latch switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher should fill up with water and then drain water after the dishes are clean. Your dishwasher does not fill if there is a broken door switch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher doesn’t drain when there is a malfunctioning drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

A dishwasher isn’t much use if the dishes are still dirty after a cycle. The dishes can still be dirty if there’s a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have manufacturer replacement parts available to repair common dishwasher problems right away.

WON’T DRY DISHES

The purpose of a dishwasher is for the appliance to wash and dry dishes. You do not want to hand dry dishes following a cycle. Your dishwasher does not dry when there’s a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We are able to fix or replace parts for the drying functions of all brands and types of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE SOAP

In order for your dishwasher to wash dishes, it needs to be able to dispense detergent or soap within the appliance. This won’t occur if there’s a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
